Description

Photochemical UV lamps
Many organic syntheses are substantially accelerated or made possible in the first place by exposure to intensive UV light.
Photochemical UV processes are ideal in chemical synthesis to carry out reactions quickly and selectively. By selecting various lamps or using filter technology, the spectral range can be narrowed and a chemical reaction can be carried out selectively.
Synthetic photochemistry is performed both in batch and flow-through reactors and on a microscopic or macroscopic scale.
In contrast to thermal processes, light-induced reactions take place at room temperature which even enables the processing of sensitive, unstable substances. Risk and scrap rate are minimised.
